These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") are legally binding agreements between you (the "User") and the service provider of GaugeCalcx (hereinafter referred to as the "App" or "Service").
By downloading, installing, accessing and using all functions of this App, you fully confirm that you have read, understood and unconditionally accepted all the terms stipulated in these Terms. If you do not agree to any clause of these Terms, please immediately uninstall this App and stop using all related services.
1. Service Description
This App is a professional tool software dedicated to providing users with decoration building material dosage calculation, decoration budget estimation, engineering quotation simulation and related parameter auxiliary computing services. All core functions of the App run locally on the user’s device, aiming to provide convenient and fast data calculation tools for decoration and building material scenarios.
We reserve the right to optimize, upgrade, adjust or maintain the App functions at any time according to service iteration and industry demands, including adding new functions, optimizing calculation logic, repairing program bugs, and adjusting page display modes, without prior notice to users.
2. Privacy Rules (Zero Data Collection & Storage)
In order to protect user privacy and data security, this App implements a full zero data collection and zero data storage mechanism:
We do not collect, record, upload, store or retain any personal information, device information, operation records, input data, quotation parameters, calculation results and all other user-related data generated during your use of the App. All data input and calculated by the user are only stored in the local temporary memory of the device, and will be automatically and completely cleared after closing the App or cleaning the App cache. No data will be synchronized to any server or third-party platform.
Your use of the service is completely offline and private, and all data rights belong solely to you.
3. User Usage Rules
Users shall abide by the following specifications when using this App service:
- You shall use this App only for personal non-commercial or internal auxiliary calculation work, and shall not use this App for illegal, improper, infringing or malicious purposes.
- You shall not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, copy, spread, resell or secondary develop the App program, code, interface and core calculation logic without authorization.
- You shall not use this App to conduct any behaviors that interfere with network security, program operation and third-party legitimate rights and interests.
- If you use the calculation results and quotation data generated by the App for commercial decision-making, project quotation and other scenarios, you shall bear the corresponding risks and responsibilities independently.
4. Service Disclaimer
All calculation formulas, parameter logic and quotation reference data of this App are compiled based on general decoration and building material industry conventional algorithms, which are only for user reference and auxiliary calculation.
Due to the differences in regional material prices, construction processes, project standards and custom parameters manually set by users, the calculation results and quotation data generated by the App may have deviations from the actual engineering data. All results calculated by the App do not constitute any commercial suggestion, bidding basis or formal engineering quotation. Users shall verify and confirm the actual data independently, and all decision-making risks arising from relying on the App calculation results shall be borne by the users themselves.
We do not assume any liability for any direct or indirect loss caused by user’s improper operation, parameter setting error, unauthorized modification of program data, or deviation between calculation results and actual situation.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property rights of this App, including but not limited to program code, interface design, icon design, functional logic, text description and software copyright, are exclusively owned by the service provider. No individual or institution may copy, imitate, modify, disseminate or use the above intellectual property contents for commercial purposes without our written authorization.
Users only obtain the personal limited usage right of the App during the use period, and do not obtain any intellectual property ownership of the App.
6. Service Suspension and Termination
We have the right to suspend or terminate the service for maintenance, system upgrade, technical failure and other reasons without prior notice. We also reserve the right to permanently terminate the service for users who violate these Terms and use the App for malicious or illegal purposes.
You may terminate the use of the service at any time by uninstalling the App, and all local temporary data will be automatically cleared accordingly.
7. Revision of Terms
We reserve the right to revise and update these Terms of Service according to service optimization and universal industry specifications. The updated terms will be displayed on the App page and take effect immediately after publication. Your continued use of the App after the update of the terms means that you accept and agree to the revised content.
